By downloading or using the BehindBBQ application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
BehindBBQ is a mobile application that provides weather information, store locations, traffic conditions, and facility information to assist users in planning and enjoying outdoor BBQ activities. The App is available on iOS devices via the Apple App Store.
License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its associated services
- Use automated tools to access or scrape content from the App
Accuracy of Information
The App provides information sourced from third-party services including weather providers, mapping services, and location databases. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this information. You should always exercise your own judgment when making decisions based on information provided by the App, including driving conditions, store availability, and weather conditions.
Location Services
The App requires access to your device's location to provide nearby store and facility information. You may disable location access in your device settings, but this will limit the App's functionality. Your use of location-based features is subject to the terms of your device's operating system and any applicable laws in your region.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Apple Maps, weather data providers, and location search services. Your use of these services through the App is also subject to those providers' respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We expressly disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from reliance on inaccurate traffic or weather information, inability to locate a store or facility, or any other use or misuse of the App.
Modifications to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the applicable jurisdiction.
