Location access is used to find nearby BBQ stores, show relevant traffic conditions, and locate shower and onsen facilities near your current position. Your location is never stored on our servers and is only used while the App is active.

The BBQ Weather Score is calculated from a combination of temperature, wind speed, precipitation probability, humidity, and UV index. A score closer to 100 means ideal BBQ conditions. The score updates hourly based on live weather data.

Store information is sourced from third-party location databases and may occasionally be outdated. We recommend calling ahead to confirm hours. If you notice a consistent error, please contact us so we can flag it for correction.

BehindBBQ is currently optimized for use in Japan. The core features such as weather and traffic will work in other regions, but store and showroom recommendations may be limited outside Japan. Broader regional support is planned for future updates.

Tap on any store or showroom card to expand it, then tap the "Navigate" button. This will open Apple Maps with directions from your current location to the selected destination.

Simply delete the App from your device to remove all locally stored data. Since BehindBBQ does not maintain a user account system, there is no server-side data to delete. If you have concerns, contact us at privacy@behindbbq.app.
