- Device Information: Basic device information such as operating system version and device model may be collected to improve App performance and diagnose technical issues.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
- We do not store your precise location history on our servers.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services to deliver its features. Each service has its own privacy policy:
- Apple Maps / MapKit: Used to display maps and provide navigation. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Weather API: Anonymous weather requests are made based on your general location. No personal identifiers are transmitted.
- Google Places API: Used to locate nearby stores and facilities. Location queries are made without personal identifiers.
Data Retention
BehindBBQ does not maintain a user database or retain personal data beyond the active session. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months to improve the App.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect minimal data, most requests can be fulfilled by uninstalling the App. For other requests, please contact us.
